5th & 6th August 2017
Baston, Lincs PE6 9PA
10am - 5pm daily

Welcome to Baston in the Blitz! Following our enormously successful 2016 show, planning is already well underway in preparation for an even bigger and better event for you in 2017. We have a fresh new entertainment line-up which will include some fabulous singers seldom seen on the local 1940's circuit here in the East Midlands, plus some of your old favourites including the George Formby Experience (aka Paul Casper) and the cockney pearly king, Rosie Rose.

In addition to the return of those military and home-front living history groups who kindly displayed at Baston this year, we have some new groups who are keen to join us in 2017. Following our introduction of firepower demonstrations and battle re-enactments this year, these features will definitely continue in 2017, albeit on a grander scale!

We have now booked Martin Willoughby's superb Lancaster bomber fuselage display, and a 1940's mens' pop-up barber shop where you can have either a modern cut or an authentic war-time style (short-back-and-sides, anyone?)

Please do come and enjoy the very special 1940's event experience that is Baston in the Blitz!
